TWO cars have been burnt out in acts of arson.
A fire engine from Langley Fire Station was called out to extinguish a burning car in a farmer's field off Riding Court Road, Datchet, at 6pm yesterday (Tuesday). Firefighters pulled up by the side of the M4 to spray down the burning car.
A spokesman for the fire station confirmed the fire had been deliberate. Firefighters were on the scene for 30 minutes.
In a separate incident, a fire engine from Maidenhead Fire Station was called to extinguish a burning car in Aldebury Road, Maidenhead, at 4am today (Wednesday). A spokesman for Maidenhead Fire Station said the car had been stolen, and set alight deliberately.
Firefighters were on the scene for about 20 minutes.
