A SCHOOL has held a successful Christmas Fair.

St Edward’s Catholic First School in Parsonage Lane, Windsor entertained hundreds of children on Saturday, December 2. The event was put on by the Friends of St Edward’s First School, to raise money to enhance the children’s curriculum.

One of the Friends, Lucy Markham, 44, of Bulkeley Avenue, Windsor, said: “In the past we’ve used the money to improve the playground, this time we’re raising money for smart TV whiteboards - we’ll be introducing them over a couple of years.

“A local estate agent, Hamilton Chess, helped sponsor us – they are always supportive.”

Children enjoyed a wide range of activities, such as a Santa’s Grotto, a sweet tombola, and face painting.
