POLICE have arrested a man in connection with the rape of a 19-year-old woman in Victoria Street car park, Windsor.
An 18-year-old man from Datchet was arrested yesterday by Thames Valley Police, and was released today (Thursday) under investigation.
Officers were called out on Monday, September 18 at 3.45am to the car park following reports that a young woman had been raped and a 35-year-old man had been assaulted.
A TVP spokesperson said: "The victim of the rape is being supported by Specially Trained Officers."
The 35-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment, and has since been discharged.
The spokesperson said the suspect was not currently being held on suspicion of assaulting the man.
