TWO men have been arrested in connection with the murder of 50-year-old Mohamed Rasheed, who died following a savage beating.
A 28-year-old man from Surrey was arrested yesterday (Thursday) on suspicion of murder. A 31-year-old man, also from Surrey, was arrested the night before (Wednesday), again on suspicion of murder. Both men are currently being held in police custody.
Fifty-year-old Mr Rasheed was found in an unconscious and injured state at 2am, on Sunday, September 10, in the service area at the bottom of Goswell Hill, Windsor.
He was rushed to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, but died of his injuries a few days later, on Tuesday, September 12.
Thames Valley Police stated that: "Although arrests have been made, the investigation team are continuing to appeal to anyone who was in the service area at the bottom of Goswell Hill between 1.50am and 2.10am on Sunday morning, as they may have information that it critical to the investigation."
