Police have released CCTV images of people who they hope can help their investigations into a brutal attack in Windsor that has left a man in a critical condition with head injuries.

They discovered the victim at 2am on Sunday lying in Goswell Hill near Bar Yello near the taxi rank.

He was unconscious and he was taken to Wexham Park Hospital but has subsequently been transferred to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
