Eight people were taken to hospital yesterday afternoon after an unknown substance was sprayed into a house in Britwell.
The attack happened at 5.20pm in Skydmore Path, Britwell when a man wearing dark clothes sprayed the stuff into the house and fled the scene on foot.
The eight people in the house were left feeling sick and were taken to hospital by the South Central Ambulance Service
Thames Valley Police have gone out of their way to reassure people that this was not an acid attack - coming as it did at a time of growing concern about attacks in London over the weekend.
They are investigating exactly what the substance was and what motive there could have been for the attack.
The victims did not sustain any serious injuries.
Firefighters from Slough also attended the scene.
