Two men believed to have been stabbed near Wraysbury on Saturday night are out of danger.

One has been discharged from hospital, the other remains in hospital in a stable condition.

The injured men sustained deep cuts and lacerations consistent with stab wounds.

Three men from Slough aged 24, 25 and 28 and one from outside the town, also 24 arrested on the night on suspicion of attempted murder have been bailed until the weekend of July 15 and 16.

They were kept in custody over the weekend.

Thames Valley Police said they attended Welley Road around 10.40pm where they found two men in their thirties had been assaulted.

Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Dean Brown of Force CID based at Maidenhead Police station, said: “This was an isolated incident where two men have received serious injuries.

“We are carrying out a thorough investigation and we have made a number of arrests.

“There will be an increased police presence in the area whilst our enquiry is ongoing and for reassurance.

“We are asking anyone who might have information in connection with this incident to please call 101.”
