Mother Goose and the Golden Easter Eggs is set to hatch in Maidenhead this Easter, with performances at The Desborough Theatre on April 1 and 2.

Leading the musical mayhem is the ‘eggstraordinary' Clifford Hume, no stranger to playing the much loved, warm and cuddly dame.

“The production is for everyone and sure to make you crack up. A great way to spend the Easter holidays” he said.

This fast paced show features a cast of six adults and a junior ensemble of local children.

Niall Hemingway will be causing trouble as the Demon Squire, while Thomas Kemp and Jemma Carlisle take on the roles of the infamous nursery rhyme characters, Jack and Jill.

Reading based actor Simon Purdey plays Mayor Humbug, while a sprinkle of magic will be added to the story by Millie Jones as Good Fairy.

With the Easter holidays approaching fast tickets can be purchased online at or by calling the booking agent on 0333 666 3366.
