A MAN has been sentenced to 36 months in prison for burglary after stealing two bicycles in Windsor and burgling a house in Slough.
Jonathan Jack, 38, of no fixed address, appeared at Reading Crown Court on Monday.
He pleaded guilty to two counts of burglary and one count of vehicle interference between December 2016 and January 2017.
On December 28 Jack stole two bicycles at Saint Leonard’s Road, Windsor. On January 1 he burgled a house in Upton Road, Slough while the occupants were at home, stealing a handbag, a purse, phone and Playstation game. On January 3 Jack broke into a blue Ford Fiesta car on Mill Street, Slough but was disturbed and did not steal anything.
At Monday’s court hearing, Jack was sentenced to 36 months imprisonment for the first burglary, 32 months imprisonment for the second burglary and four weeks imprisonment for the vehicle interference, which will run concurrently.
