Heathrow set to hold midnight marathon
HEATHROW staff are to tear down the asphalt for the first ever marathon on the northern runway.
On Saturday, September 12, from 10.30pm to 4.30am, they will be running the two miles of the runway to raise £100,000 – participants are asked to raise at least £200 for Oxfam, Help For Heroes, BA’s Flying Start and Heathrow Community Fund.
Entry fee is £30.
