THE third annual Forces Children's Trust toy run will take to the streets of Windsor this weekend.
The six-mile toy run, the brainchild of Royal Borough community warden Stuart Hookway, will see bikers dress in festive outfits and ride from Legoland, carrying Christmas gifts, to Broom Farm, Windsor, via the town centre.
The toy run, which will take place on Sunday, will be led by the Mayor of the Royal Borough, councillor Colin Rayner's car and bikers will deliver the festive presents to the children upon arrival.
Stuart Hookway, community warden and organiser, said: "As an ex-serviceman, I know only too well the impact on children who lose a parent in a conflict.
"I therefore felt it very appropriate to give something back to our local Army community and organised this event. It is now in its third year and I am expecting even more bikers to take part.
"I would like to encourage residents and businesses to donate toys to this good cause."
Cllr Rayner said: "The Royal Borough has a rich history with the Army and it is fitting that this event supports a charity helping children whose father or mother has died or been injured while serving as a member of the British Armed Forces."
