Steve ‘Stavros’ Parrish brings his MAD (My Adolescent Dad) tour to Norden Farm Centre for the Arts on Sunday 21 February at 7.30pm. Tickets are £20 (£18.50 conc).

Steve is a former motorcycle and truck racer and is now a motorsport commentator. He has a host of racing championships to his name. He can now be heard commentating on the Isle of Man TT race and the Red Bull Air Race series.

Steve is renowned for being a practical joker. He has executed stunts across the world, including burning down a toilet block in Poland, posing as teammate Barry Sheene in a qualifying session and hosing down the inside of a packed pub with his very own fire engine. He is the world record holder for Fastest Speed Achieved in Reverse, topping 105 miles per hour using a Caterham car.

The show at Norden Farm is hosted by Steve’s daughter, Frankie, as she extracts stories and anecdotes from Steve about his life, loves and career. The pair will be highlighting how times have changed, and pondering on whether there will ever be another character like Stavros in motor racing.

Frankie will be sharing her own experiences of having Steve as a father, including his host of affectionate nicknames for her, and lying about her age to get into school a year early.

Join father and daughter for a look back at Steve’s daredevil life, both on and off the race track.

Tickets are available from the Box Office on 01628 788997 or online https://norden.farm/events/steve-parrish
