Abingdon next for Royalists

WINDSOR & Eton play their first home game of the new season tonight against Abingdon United.
A 2-1 win in Saturday's opener at Gosport Borough will have boosted the confidence levels in the Windsor squad, but assistant manager Jim Melvin is keen for the side to remain focused.
“It will be a hard game, Abingdon have had a good pre-season. They've brought some new lads in and will be a decent enough side,” he remarked.
“It’s a hard first week - Gosport, Abingdon and then Truro - and we’ll treat Abingdon with the utmost respect and look to try and get the three points at our place.
"If we can do that, then to be fair, it’s been a half decent start.”
