After taking four points from their first two matches, Maidenhead United host Braintree Town in the Conference South tomorrow.

Following their opening day 2-1 win at Bromley, the Magpies drew 0-0 on Tuesday night at home to Bath City.

In contrast, Braintree have slipped to two consecutive 1-0 defeats in their opening matches. A loss at Dorchester Town was followed during the week with a further reverse at Welling United.

This represents a disappointing start for the team from Essex, who finished a creditable fifth in the league last season.

Although only two games in, Maidenhead currently sit eighth in the table and will be looking to build on this promising position with three points tomorrow.
