Rugby player airlifted to hospital

A YOUNG rugby player was airlifted to hospital after being injured during a junior match in Windsor's Home Park.

The 14-year-old was taken to Wexham Park Hospital yesterday (Sunday) by Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance with suspected hip injuries.

The youngster, who is thought to be from Newbury, was playing in match against the youth section of Windsor Rugby Club.
