Police search is called off

A POLICE search launched after clothes and personal belongings were found next to the riverbank in Dedworth has been called off after the owner was found safe and well.

The man, who lives in Windsor, was found by the police safe and well at around 1pm.

The search was launched this morning at 9am, after the items were found next to the riverbank in Sutherland Grange Field off Maidenhead Road, by a concerned member of the public.

The area was cordoned off as police and divers searched the area.
