A Grade II listed pub is set to be auctioned off for a residential development.
The Chequers, on Dean Lane in Cookham, is to go before online auction on June 5.
The "substantial" former public house will be going for an excess of £1million as the opening bid is confirmed.
Complete with exposed wooden beams, the pub housed an Indian restaurant called Mango Lounge until five years ago.
It is unknown why the pub and restaurant closed and it has since been earmarked for a residential development subject to planning.
Auction Property has said that the property could be converted back into a "stunning, large family home".
The main building has a large frontage with substantial car parking to either side of the building, together with a large rear garden.
The site also includes a smaller detached building.
